UMNAGRI
The Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fisheries is represented in several regional and continental (Maghreb, Arab and African) and international agricultural organizations, within the framework of the development of the network of external relations established by the Union since its establishement.
The Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fisheries is a member among the founding members of the UMNAGRI Union for Farmers, which is a regional agricultural organization of a professional nature as a legal and financially independent person, based in Tunis .

The Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fisheries is a founding member of the African Agricultural Organization
Founded in October 2010, it includes regional agricultural organizations in Africa, namely the Maghreb and North African Farmers Union, the East African Farmers Union, the Farmers’ Organization of West Africa, the Union of Agricultural Organizations in Southern Africa and the Union of Farmers in Central Africa. Who was elected at the organization’s third conference, held in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on February 18-19, 2017.

The Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fisheries is a member of the International Farmers Organization
It is an international farmers’ organization which aims to bring together all national agricultural organizations and cooperatives, in order to develop policies that support the problems of farmers in developed and developing countries around the world.

The Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fisheries is a member of the General Union of Arab Farmers and Agricultural Cooperatives.
It is an independent, professional national non-governmental trade union organization operating in the Arab world. It aims at establishing a stable democratic rules for agricultural relations for all member organizations on scientific grounds with a view to achieving social justice, improving working conditions, increasing production, organizing and mobilizing agricultural forces and to combat exploitation in such a way as to guarantee the protection of farmers, to increase production and to encourage agricultural cooperative work.

The Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fisheries is the founder of the UAFA.
This is the first African Union of Women in Agriculture, which was announced in the celebration of work conclusion of the Women in Agriculture first African Forum on October 28, 2016. It was hosted in the headquarters of the Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Ficheries from October 27 to 30, 2016. It is currently chaired by Ms. Ines Saad Nagara, member of the Executive Bureau of the Farmers Union in charge of events. Exhibitions and women farmers. Its executive committee is made up of 12 female members representing African countries participating in the forum.
The tasks of the African Union for Women in Agriculture are:
Assessment of agricultural investment opportunities
Promote entrepreneurial culture and launch projects for African women farmers
Foster a culture of mentoring, training and support for African women, project grants
Facilitate the dissemination of information on agricultural products
Strengthen the networking of economic, social and solidarity structures
